        Verdict

        A wide open handicap rounds off the card and many would have chances on their best form but thew principals look to be Elvina,Blessed Place and Tomthevic and the narrow vote is given to Blessed Place. The selection was a fair fourth behind Holbeck Ghyl last time out, that form has since been franked and with his young apprentice taking off a handy seven pounds he looks the value bet in an open affair. Elvina rates the main danger but on a line through Holbeck Ghyl he has a little to find with the selection and for that reason he is opposed. Tomthevic will make a bold bid to make all the running but he has folded tamely one headed of late and for that reason he is opposed. 1 Clearing Sky has dropped to a handy mark and could run well at a price now that his stable are beginning to find its form. Rileys Dream has the ability to go close but does not always ordain to use it. However it would be no surprise if he showed improvement in first time cheek pieces. This is a trappy affair and stakes should be kept to a minimum but for the winner we return to Blessed Place.
