This is not the strongest of races and with the trip, going and weights all in her favour, Madam Caversfield is taken to make the most of this drop in grade with Stamford Blue and Dmitri rated the main dangers. The selection has been dropped into selling company for the first time in her career by Richard Hannon today and looks to have been found a suitably weak contest to gain an overdue first success. Milton Bradley's Devious Ayers, a selling winner at Brighton, faces no easy task under his penalty and of more interest may be Jimmy Frost's Dmitri, who showed signs of a revival at Wolverhampton last time. Hollywood Henry lacks any consistency, while Mister Clinton has given little sign of encouragement of late. Stamford Blue has solid claims at the weights and has to be respected given his current form but Madam Caversfield has not had an easier chance to win a race and is taken to open her account here.
