Verdict
Milton Bradley is mob handed in this sprint with Pulse, Indian Bazaar, Threat and Present 'N Correct effectively against the field. The Bradley team are in good form at the moment and this looks to be something of a busman's holiday as they saddle four in the finale. Pulse gained the victory that he has been long knocking on the door for at Brighton last time out. He is exposed as nothing out of the ordinary but is at least consistent and did finish second here over course and distance to Firework in selling grade albeit in selling grade. Indian Bazaar has not won for two seasons but looks to have been reawakened by the application of the cheekpieces. He is held by Pulse on a strict line of form through stable companion, General Smith. Threat's days at the top of the sprinting pecking order are a distant memory. He is capable of popping up now and again but he is arguably a better proposition over six furlongs and with some cut in the ground. All form lines suggest that Present 'N Correct is the fourth string. It may well pay to go against them with Guns Blazing. Vicky Haigh's representative landed an Amateur riders event for Sam Beddoes at Leicester and on old form the horse still looks well in despite a six pound rise for that success. Diaphanous could be interesting under the terms of this contest. The mare is no world beater but she possesses bags of speed and with no whips allowed to be used, she may be capable of getting beyond recall if she is on a going day. Statoyork put in a decent reappearance effort behind Sir Sandrovitch but may still need this before hitting form. We will therefore go for Guns Blazing although Pulse and Diaphanous are respected in the finale.
