Bongoali is going the right way and can land the nursery, with Lady Chef, Chapter and Zolash others to consider. Bongoali was sent off favourite to take a claimer at Newcastle recently, the drop in grade expected to see her open her account. However, she dwelt at the start and never really had command of the situation despite coming through to lead at one point. The ground was heavy that day though and she may be more at home on this faster surface, so with a mark of 67 for her nursery bow, she is the pick to get the losses back. Lady Chef already has winning form and was a fair third at Goodwood last time. That was over seven furlongs so the extra trip today should be in her favour. Chapter has topweight but hails from a top yard in this department and is better than his recent run at Sandown suggests. Zolash has a bit to find with the selection on Newcastle running, while Flying Pass left the money in the bookies' satchels at Salisbury and is not sure to get the trip here. All in all, Bongoali has the scope and looks the one to be on.
