The consistent NIGHT AFFAIR tops the shortlist here and David Arbuthnot's filly can see off Matterofact and Diane's Choice. A winner on debut at Wolverhampton, the selection has since run two good races in defeat at Lingfield and Kempton. She is expected to have no problem with the turf here and this full sister to the decent Shaded Edge is taken to lead them home. Matterofact has been in fair form of late since a Lingfield win in June. She is a course and distance winner and although she looks high enough in the weights she should give her running. Drifting Gold is better than she was able to show at Epsom last time out, Littlemissunshine is starting to look well-handicapped, whilst Jane's Payoff ran a better race in defeat last time with the tongue-tie on and it remains on today. Chandika is very unexposed and she is bred to be better than this mark of 58 for her handicap debut, whilst Diane's Choice is one of the more consistent runners in the line-up. This looks a good chance for Night Affair to get back to winning ways.
