Back down in grade the Malcolm Saunders trained Sweet Afton can score for the first time in almost two years here. Last seen contesting a 5 furlong event at Goodwood, the selection was taken off her feet in the early stages over that lightening quick minimum distance. She was doing her best work in the closing stages but never looked likely to get on terms with the leaders. Alexander Hurricane did not appeaer suited by the step up to 6 furlongs last time as his stamina gave way in the closing stages. He remains open to improvement and is a danger to all while the veteran Digital can never be left from the reckoning around this circuit. Whiskey Junction won an awful maiden over course and distance last time out and this will prove much tougher on his handicap debut. Sweet Afton is taken to land this dropping back down to this grade.
