Not a race for the fainthearted but it could be worth chancing Gee Four in preference to Baytown Lulu and Par Excellence. Gee Four is trained by Ed McMahon and this sort of race was pretty much meat and drink to his father, Bryan, during his training days. Gee Four didn't show too much on a recent run on soft going but his Nottingham fifth is much better than the bare form suggests and he is given a chance on a first step into selling grade. Baytown Lulu has been one of the busiest juveniles in training and is well known as far as a betting proposition. Par Excellence was a little disappointing on Saturday at Leicester in a similar grade. She should be running on again at the death. She holds Silver Rocket on a line of form. Tombalina's first spark of form was recorded at Chepstow on soft ground. This looks to be about her level. Miss Gandy's breeding suggests that she will be better over six furlongs. A low grade seller in which minimal stakes are suggested about Gee Four.
