Recent winners Sigrid Nansen and Confils both have to go on the short-list in this. The former won over the trip at Brighton and the latter was successful here over 1m2f, though both carry penalties. FILAMENT OF GOLD is a viable alternative as he has a terrific record around here. Below his last winning mark, he bounces off this quick ground and should now be cherry-ripe. None of the others make much appeal on recent efforts.
