Major Valentine was attempting a four-timer at Nottingham but was headed right on the line and has been raised another 3lb so may now be a couple of pounds high. The Big Lad has won five times though all have been on artificial surfaces and he's not as effective on Turf. SILVERRICA (NAP) is very speedy and was only headed right on the line over the extended sprint track here last week. She looks the one to be on and holds third-placed Kyllukey while Edged Out was a long way behind her here in August. Our Lord made all on very fast ground at Brighton last summer and has changed stables so if ready after a long break could make his presence felt.
