Luca Cumani has made a very good start to the turf season and Salesin can add to the recent success, Adventuress and Tennis Star may do best of the others. The selection showed plenty of promise on his only juvenile start, staying on well in the last couple of furlong to finish fifth to the Godolphin runner Highlander. The extra distance today will be ideal and he could land this before moving on to better things. Tennis Star improved on his debut to finish a close up third behind Sienna Storm at Haydock in September. He is from a top yard and the market should let us know if he is fit for his seasonal return. Adventuress ran well in what appeared to be a decent maiden at Newmarket recently and should be open to plenty of improvement. The best of the rest could be the once raced Alqaab, but the form of the stable sways us towards Salesin.
