very slowly into stride, late progress from over 1f out
tracked leaders, ridden 2f out, all out to lead close home
held up in touch, ridden over 2f out, not quicken and weakened
always in rear, eased towards finish
towards rear, effort 2f out, short lived
led and keen, headed over 3f out, weakened and eased
tracked leaders and keen, ridden and every chance 2f out, one pace final furlong
soon in touch, ridden approaching 2f out, kept on
mid-division, behind from halfway and eased
with leader, led over 3f out, hard ridden and headed close home
A bog-standard seller in which preference is for Who's Winning ahead of Klarity and Midnight Blews. The selection should appreciate the return to this slightly longer trip today after a no-show last time at Salisbury. That was in a better race than this and he should find this easier, so whilst he is yet to win at the track, he can gain that first success today. Game Lady is capable on her day but that is hard to predict and she is not one to count on, a comment that applies to most of the field. Peruvian Style and Talcen Gwyn have won over the course and distance and like recent C+D fourth Indian Lady, should ruin their races. Midnite Blews is fairly consistent if somewhat unspectacular, whilst Currency is getting on a bit and Night Prospector continues to threaten without winning. A terrible race where Klarity would not be without a chance for trainer Jeff Pearce, however it is Who's Winning who gets the very tentative vote.
