Verdict

A competitive Handicap hurdle with Major Shark with a major chance of landing a hat-trick today. He has two recent wins under his belt at Southwell and Newton Abbot and although he has gone up in the weights he is set to rise a further two pounds so connections are keen to strike while the oven is hot. Major Shark has proven he battles and with another display like his previous two efforts he could prove difficult to beat. Of his main rivals Musally struggled after being raised for his win at Ludlow back in April but will strip fitter today. Araglin seems to always find one too good for him at the moment and the handicapper will not relent. But if he continues in this form he will win again soon. And finally look out for any market support for the in-form Evan Williams' Cooling Castle, although he looks weighted to his best and may be better in claiming company. So for the winner we return to Major Shark.
