In depth

Verdict

TARABLAZE reverted to hurdles at the Cheltenham Festival but his earlier form over fences has a solid look about it and Philip Hobbs' eight-year-old is the one to beat here if jumping better than he did when runner-up to Aiteen Thirtythree at Newbury last month. Sedgefield winner Sir Tantallus Hawk stayed this trip over hurdles but his best form is undoubtedly over shorter and it was disappointing that he couldn't hold off Film Festival at Doncaster last time. It took Cool Mission five attempts to get off the mark over fences but he's a consistent sort who shouldn't be far away and he is much preferred to Big Burrows, who has shown very little of late.
