In depth

Verdict

Something went amiss with Thomas Brown at Newbury when he attempted to follow up his earlier win at the same track. He'll go close if running his race but OTAGO TRAIL looks a safer bet. The latter got off the mark when making all at Fontwell last month and is taken to defy a penalty. The others with experience make no appeal so the newcomers may prove a bigger threat. Raise A Spark is the first foal of a winner over hurdles while Heresmynumber is out of a prolific dam and can count the smart Dosco among his five winning relatives.
