In depth

Verdict

Absinthe won three times over hurdles in 2012 including over course and distance but hasn't raced since. Chat Room won a maiden hurdle in the same year but has shown little in either of his subsequent starts. NORDIC QUEST looks the safest bet back over today's shorter trip after disappointing at Doncaster last time. He'd earlier gone close at Huntingdon and a repeat should be good enough in this company. Tom Wade is back on a winning mark but arrives out of form and The Pier makes more appeal off his current mark having finished a bit closer at Ludlow last month.
