      Verdict

Winning pointer Down Ace won by four lengths at Cheltenham on his debut under Rules and sets a very decent standard but a number of his rivals here could also have a future. Blue Buttons, another winning pointer, was only beaten a neck on his debut in a bumper at Taunton while newcomers to consider from powerful yards include Frangipani Lady, Handmaid and De Grae Clouding, the latter was second in a point-to-point at Lisronagh in March. PLAYHARA is by King's Theatre out of a Sir Harry Lewis mare so you would imagine that she's have a bit more speed than the majority of these and she gets the nod.
