Vingis Park and Naunton Brook have already shown ability in bumpers and could fight out the finish, with the latter just getting the vote. Nigel Twiston-Davies' gelding attempted to make all the running in a decent looking Bangor race won by Dark Character. He just tired in the closing stages and will strip much fitter this afternoon. Vingis Park who hails from a yard that does well in this type of event, made a promising start to his career when a close second to Supreme Serenade at Newton Abbot back in April, he obviously goes well fresh and must take a hand in the finish. Born Leader could be the pick of the newcomers, he is related to some decent types and and is trained by the in form Alan King, but on this occasion we will stick with the form horses and plump for Naunton Brook.
