An open look to this beginners' chase where there are a few obvious ones with chances including O'Maley, Money Order and Flying Falcon and Money Order is taken to score. The Brendan Powell-trained gelding has thus far enjoyed getting his toe in, in winning three of his four starts, two of them over hurdles. Today's ground is on the easy side of good, so hopefully it should not be a major problem, and there is no better pilot than A P McCoy to nurture and nurse him to victory. O'Maley is an interesting opponent. The ex-French trained gelding already has one race over fences on his CV when third at Newbury last year and he has been seen only once since. Certain to have been well prepared he is a serious threat. Appleaday goes on any ground and will be suited by this trip, but he needs to improve on his hurdles form to take this, Carnival Town may be a better proposition now tried over fences, if he can reproduce his hurdles form, while What A Scientist is another chansing debutante not without a chance, though he appears to prefer bottomless ground and our preference is for Money Order.
