Verdict

Jim Goldie doesn't have many that come to Bangor but has a 33% record with those that he enters but modest performer Grand Diamond has to improve to compete here. Stopped Out looks a little too high in the ratings and King Ozzy has won with cut in the ground here over the chase course but looks more one for that sphere. Sambulando has raced against tougher opposition than this but needs to return from his summer break at the top of his game to take this race. Fiendish Flame is at the top of the weights but has to be respected for a top yard. He has competed in some difficult races at Ayr and Cheltenham in chase company but returns to the hurdles with a real chance. Soft Spoken Guy may prefer a further test of stamina with a bigger threat expected from Three Ships who was running well before falling at Ffos Las when bidding for a hat-trick. The vote goes to REBEL DANCER with Tony McCoy a notable jockey booking. He looks realistically weighted and has performed well at Huntingdon and Stratford since switching to his new yard and should handle the ground having performed well with cut earlier on in his career in points.
