Nenuphar Collonges is selected to give weight and a beating to Jam Packed, with Moorlaw and Brave Villa seen as potential dangers. Nenuphar Collonges was successful on his final start in France back in June, with blinkers applied to aid his confidence after an earlier fall. Alan King does well with his French imports, and although this fellow has to carry 11st 12lb, his recent work suggests that he is sharp enough to go close despite a break. Time will tell whether he is harshly treated, but he does not have a great deal to beat, and with conditions to suit, can prove too good for Jam Packed. The latter was given a confident ride by Dominic Elsworth at Towcester, cruising through on the bridle to open his account over fences, but he did not beat much, and we shall take him on, progressive as he is. Matt Sheppard has been in fine form this term, and will no doubt place Brave Villa to good effect. The Irish import shaped well to be third at Worcester on his British debut, and will come on for that first outing since May. Moorlaw was only selling class over hurdles and despite boasting a bit of experience over the bigger obstacles, probably has it to do, and we much prefer to follow the fortunes of Nenuphar Collonges.
