Pass The Ball was in brilliant form last summer winning two point-to-points, a hurdle and a chase in quick succession. He's been racing on Polytrack at Dundalk so should be ready for his return to hurdling. Winning bumper Soleglad hasn't done as well as expected over timber but there were signs of better to come at Clonmel last time while Ronald Pump hasn't been beaten far in his last two starts and trip and ground are in his favour. Eiri Na Casca, six times a winner over fences, reverts to hurdling on a 20lb lower mark and is one to keep an eye on as is the four-year-old Torcello, three times a winner on the Flat in the UK last summer and making his handicap debut over timber. LOUPGAROU hails from an in-form yard and looked ideally suited to this sort of trip and ground at Clonmel. Jessica Harrington's grey was returning from a lay-off and with just 5lb extra to carry can complete a quick double.
