Conron struggled on the Flat but produced a real shock when beating a huge field on his hurdling debut at Punchestown and further progress looks certain. Percy landed a Downpatrick maiden on soft ground in March but didn't appear to enjoy quicker conditions at Clonmel though his stable were out of sorts at the time. Waterville Dancer has been heavily supported in all three starts since joining Charles Byrnes and gained compensation for earlier defeats when battling to victory at Killarney while Ar Eagla Na Heagla showed potential at Sligo earlier this month and has since had a run on the Flat. EOLINE JOLIE landed a three-year-old hurdle at Auteuil in October and though not showing much for Willie Mullins her two runs have been in much better company so she can take the drop in grade in her stride.
