In depth

Verdict

ABBEY LANE hasn't done as well as expected over fences but he's faced much tougher opposition and his close sixth in the Paddy Power handicap at Leopardstown in December should be good enough for this. Celestial Prospect, four times a winner over timber, looks a good prospect for chasing though might just need this on his comeback. Dysios ran poorly over hurdles last time but his previous runs over fences put him right in the picture, especially his second behind Sizing Granite at Leopardstown. It will be a surprise if Lord Adare doesn't win soon while Rock The World and A Sizing Network are others to consider in a better than average beginners' event.
