Verdict

Pros 'N' Cons has undoubtedly been disappointing after a good run at Thurles in November and faces some in-form rivals here. Mr Steadfast was sent to Carlisle to lose his maiden tag in a bumper where he showed real battling qualities which he may need here. THE GATECHECKER (NAP), a winning point-to-pointer and bumper, was in the lead at this trip before run out of it by Star Counsel over 2m6f at Killarney and should go one better. Mayameen, a close third behind Patsio at Tipperary, looks best of the remainder.
