TURNBERRY ISLE makes a quick reappearance after making most over a mile at Killarney last week. That was an improvement on his earlier runs when waited with and the new tactics can work again. Thrifty One made all over a mile at Dundalk in March but couldn't get to the front in a better race there a fortnight later and has had a nice break. Charcor was well beaten when runner-up at Roscommon but Merited won over the course and distance on soft ground so further rain would aid her cause. Takeachancejimmy had been better known as a sprinter before staying on strongly over a mile at Bellewstown but faces a stiffer test here.
