Bowtie produced two fair efforts at Kilbeggan but was well beaten in a slightly better Bellewstown bumper. Lispendense disappointed in the spring after a very good third at Leopardstown in December and though Rightful Mind finished runner-up at Downpatrick he couldn't hold off the winner and was beaten 13 lengths. BLUEBLOOD has a Flat-racers pedigree so should be suited by the conditions and has performed well enough in his last two races to suggest this could be his day. The presence of Derek O'Connor in the saddle for Babog Mor is intriguing as his mount has a sprint-bred pedigree.
