This is a poor contest with little form on view. Konig Hall won four times on the Flat in Germany but finished a long way last on his opening run for new connections at the Galway Festival. His stablemate Turfjager is another import who has shown little over hurdles, though there were signs of progress here last month. Red Jacket didn't get far before running out at Roscommon and can hardly be trusted so it's SHEK O LAD, who showed his first sign of ability when fifth in that latter event, who gets the vote. Hammermann has run 13 times on the Flat without winning and is rated 46 on Turf but such is the lack of quality here that he isn't without a chance.
