Jim Goldie's Rothesay Dancer has gone up 5lb for her win at Hamilton last time but that was over five furlongs and she is better over the minimum trip so looks best left out of calculations, while Richard Guest's Gracie's Gift is only 1lb higher than when scoring at Southwell in June but has disappointed in the main since then. Peter Monteith's Monte Mayor One is consistent but looks booked for a place at best along with the Michael Dods-trained Tawzeea and it is hard to get away from PARC AUX BOULES. John McConnell's gelding was good value for his win in an apprentice jockeys' handicap at Roscommon last time and he has an obvious chance racing off the same mark today.
