Verdict
Sahafh looks vulnerable in first time cheekpieces having returned a beaten favourite the last twice and the Godolphin filly is passed over in favour of DELPHI DREAM. She is just one of three fillies who shaped promisingly on debut and could improve sufficiently to open their account whilst newcomers Port Hollow and Desert Shine clearly need a market check. Undulant Way and Sally Friday contested the same maiden at Kempton in which the runner-up went on to land the maiden in which the selection made her bow. It would be dangerous to draw too many conclusions from the relative distances beaten as all three run on turf for the first time but runners from Hughie Morrison's yard often derive considerable improvement from their initial runs so Delphi Dream is nominally preferred although the market can guide.
