Speed Company should be monitored for any market support as he’s won two of his three starts here and is starting to look dangerously well handicapped. Ventura Dragon made a winning reappearance at Doncaster in March but hasn’t raced since and his best form has come on ground with plenty of give. NICHOLAS T won’t want conditions to deteriorate as he’s been racing over shorter but he was only beaten half-a-length in the Zetland Gold Cup at Redcar in the spring so will handle the step back up in trip if the rains stay away. Mooltazem won here and at Haydock before finishing fourth at Ripon but Indian Chief has a first run since third at Chester in May. Dubai Horizon represents Godolphin but has disappointed this term.
