Verdict

Calivigny and Mayo Star are course and distance winners with the latter eased in grade. HONDA FIFTY is 0-8 but has always looked as though he’d be suited by this longer trip and he’ll strip fitter for a pipe-opener at Hexham, where he made late headway. Time Leader is effectively only 3lb higher than when a surprise winner at Carlisle while Operation Overlord looks to be improving and makes his handicap debut with similar comments applying to Schalke.
