In depth

Verdict

Despite form figures, Jacamar has actually finished last in his two runs over fences including in a match at Doncaster on Saturday. Cadeyrn has a very long absence to overcome but Grand Morning ran his best race so far over the larger obstacles last time at Hexham and Buzz De Turcoing can build on his second at Wetherby. LE CHEVAL NOIR never threatened when fourth at Carlisle but that was a much stronger race than this and he’ll know more today. Sunset West has won between the flags so is worth a market check, though he lacks a recent run.
