In depth

Verdict

Despite the defection of Saturday’s Newcastle third Caboy, Lucinda Russell still has three runners in this with Bangor winner Rapid Raider preferred to Camp Belan and Destiny Is All. Blakerigg’s last victory came over track and trip off a 2lb higher mark but ARDERA CROSS (NAP) probably deserves a chance to recoup losses. Willian Young’s 10-year-old was well supported in a higher grade here last week and led for a long way. He won twice here in the spring off much higher marks. The returning Eagle De Guye still has time on his side but may need further than this and Just Don't Know also looks a stayer in the making.
