Kalani Star gets the nod over Stellite, with Quantica, Outrageous Flirt and Jedeydd just a few more to mention. Kalani Star has now gone 32 races without visiting the winner's enclosure, but he has been most consistent this season, only finishing out of the frame once in his last seven outings, and off a mark of in the mid-fifties he should once again make his presence felt. Stellite was just touched off by Compton Eclipse here in August and the drop back to seven furlongs should help, while Outrageous Flirt was found out by the stiff Carlisle finish when sent off favourite last time but with Seb Sanders on board he will get a strong ride. Jedeydd has a handy weight and caught the eye behind Linden's Lady at Catterick, and along with Luke after Me, can be involved somewhere along the line. However, it is about time that Kalani Star got his head in front and that could be today.
