Verdict
Osteopathic Remedy won well last time and can land this despite a 4lb rise in the weights; Pianoforte and Hawkit look the best of the rest. The selection took advantage of a lower mark when successful recently at Thirsk. He loves this quick ground and he is still well-treated on old form. He had Esoterica behind him on that occasion and despite a turnaround in the weights, he is expected to confirm the form. Hawkit should have come on for a recent run and knows how to win around here, whilst Ulysees is also a course winner but at nine years of age he seems to be plugging on without much purpose, a bit like the book. Jordan's Light needs a market check on his reappearance run, whilst stablemate Shy Glance looks well-handicapped on old form. Pianoforte let down supporters with an abject display when favourite at Carlisle but he should run better now on a flatter track. An open race, but recent winner Osteopathic Remedy can win again.
