In depth

Verdict

Dual bumper winner Let Me Be debuts in this code and will handle any cut in the ground. But this longer trip will suit NEW CHAPTER, third over a mile at Windsor last time when behind a subsequent winner, and the Haggas colt can come out best. Bellatrixsa and Poetica are others likely to improve for this extra distance while Make Some Magic is fitted with headgear and may finish closer. The newcomer Gratot makes a belated debut having cost E520,000 back in 2016 as a full-brother to a French 1000 Guineas and Oaks winner but was sold for only 10,000gns subsequently.
