Verdict

BOLD ACCOUNT was progressing well prior to finishing lame last time and may be able to resume winning ways at the main expense of Verinco and Flyit. Once again the ability to handle testing conditions will prove to be key and the selection is one of the few in the race with form on soft ground. He's risen a good bit in the weights for his two wins in August but he won well enough to think that he could be competitive from this mark and he's given another chance. Becausewecan may have done too much at the head of affairs when disappointing on similar ground over a mile here last time and merits respect but this drop back in trip isn't certain to suit. Flyit ran one of his better races when dropped to claiming company last time and has been running well enough from similar marks in nurseries to suggest that he'll be competitive if he handles the ground but he's yet to race on anything worse than good. That comment also applies to Verinco who was far from disgraced in a pretty competitive race at Pontefract when racing from a high draw. Both would have live claims if they prove to be at home on the surface but Bold Account's soft ground form ensures that he receives the nod.
