Lacework should take plenty of beating in this handicap and he gets the vote over Voodoo Moon and Jewelled Dagger. The selection is seeking the hat-trick today and she won in cosy fashion at Redcar last time when beating King Charles. This ground should be ideal and with the yard in good form she is a confident selection. Voodoo Moon ran well to finish fourth in a competitive handicap at Haydock last time and with this slight step-up in her favour she should give the selection the most to think about. Jewelled Dagger is another runner who arrives here in sparkling and he is seeking his fourth win in a row today. However, he only just scrambled home at Mussleburgh last time and we suspect the handicapper may now have his measure. Samira Gold won her maiden in good style on her debut and she could be well-treated on her handicap debut. However, Lacework looked like one to stay on the right side of when scoring last time and she can make it three wins in a row.
