Verdict

A tricky end to proceedings on account of the fast ground. Sleeper Class scored over track and trip last month but has yet to encounter good to firm and the same comment applies to JAEGER TRAIN. But a chance is taken on Karl Burke's Southwell winner as he's less exposed than most and Joey Haynes 5lb allowance could make all the difference. Sandra's Diamond, Heroique and Signore Piccolo are similar in that all three have won in soft ground and have struggled off higher marks subsequently.
