Verdict
Both Doctor Parkes and Bispham Green bounced back last time with 5f victories at Goodwood and Haydock respectively. But both step up a grade for this while the rejuvenated Bear Behind looks back in the handicapper's grip after a second at Ripon. Exceptionelle was sent off favourite on the Turf course at Lingfield last time but it was the same old story for Roger Varian's filly as she came up short once again. NEW FFOREST showed progressive form last season but lost all chance when slowly away in the Epsom Dash on her reappearance. She should be sharper today and gets the nod given Andrew Balding can boast an excellent strike rate with the few runners he sends to the track.
