Merlins Profit, Senor Bond and Pending are among the more likelier winners of this and we will side with the first named. A relatively cheap acquisition for Alan Swinbank, the veteran trainer looks to have gleaned some improvement from the horse and another bold run is expected. Back to a favoured mile, he holds serious claims. Senor Bond was beaten when he met our selection in a seller. Now with Pat Haslam, he has an interesting jockey booking. Commitment Lecture is a workmanlike type who wins in his turn. A better horse on softer going, we will watch the market with interest. Pending was bought in for 10000 guineas after winning a Chepstow seller. A decisive winner of that race, more is on now. Adobe continues to frustrate his loyal fanbase and may be best opposed. Sting Like A Bee is on something of a losing run. If the rain stays away, it will be interesting to see if his backers play. Lauro is a course and distance winner who will probably be raced prominently. Onyergo is still potentially open to improvement although the visor has been resorted to. Merlin's Profit is still potentially open to improvement so we will give him another chance.
