Verdict

Not exactly the classiest of fields for the final race on the card but we take a chance with LOSS LEADER ahead of Ya Boy Sir and Kristen Jane. The selection is still a maiden from six starts but has put in a couple of decent runs in his last two efforts so there may be some improvement again today. Although he had an advantage in the weights for those performances, this relatively weak field can see him gain a first win. Sharp Shoes will be looking for assistance from first-time blinkers and Midget is looking to return to winning ways for the first time since debut. Ya Boy Sir was a winner two races ago at Musselburgh but disappointed at Newcastle last time under Paul Hanagan. The jockey switches his attention to Classlin which is interesting, whilst Kristen Jane has improved lately and could challenge. However we side with Loss Leader to grab a first victory.
