      Verdict

      Royal Regent and Firlinfeu have both won over the track and trip with the former in better form after a decent comeback here last week. Tricorn was once rated 41lb higher and though never looking like winning at Musselburgh stayed on over that slightly shorter trip. Winning bumper Flammarion may find this on the short side on quick ground though the form of his latest second has been boosted by the winner but Sands Chorus made all to land a Redcar claimer in very easy fashion, his ninth victory and his first since 2017. PUCKLE completed a Beverley double last August and has continued in consistent form. The fast ground suits and he looks the safest option as Loch Ness Monster needs further.
