In depth

Verdict

Donnelly's Rainbow easily beat Chinese Spirit at Musselburgh and in a quicker time than Merricourt’s victory in the second division of the same race, though both carry penalties in this higher grade. MY UKULELE won a division of this last year, despite meeting trouble in-running. He is still 3lb higher but has placed a couple of times at Hamilton this season and will enjoy any give in the ground. Tim Easterby’s pair, Temper Trap and Cassy O, are others to consider along with Alioski, Ralphy Boy Two and Beverley Bullet.
