George Ridsdale bolted up over 1m2f at Newcastle on his reappearance and, though penalised, was unlucky in this race last year when racing off a pound higher mark. Pacino does most of his racing at Chester but is 8lb lower than for his only previous victory on Turf. House Deposit is a consistent sort who has a good draw and a 7lb claimer in the saddle but SORBONNE’s rider can also claim a handy 5lb and there is a good chance that David Barron’s Leicester winner will improve further now he’s got his head in front. Bringitonboris has shown some ability but the handicapper has been slow to show him some leniency.
