Verdict
Another tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading fancies but the principals look to be Comanche War Paint, Strong Resolve, Silver Birch and Silver Knight and the tentative vote goes to Silver Birch. The selection did not appear to see out the four mile trip when fourth behind Native Emperor at Cheltenham last time having traveled well for a long way. He will appreciate the drop in distance and with conditions to suit he will be hard to beat. Commanche War Paint rates the main danger he was a good second behind Twisted logic last time out and that form has since been franked so he will be a danger to all. Strong Resolve is another that could go well he defeated Silver Knight in good style last time out but that rival is better off at the weights here and again their will not be much between them. Of the remainder Idiome is game and consistent and is sure to run his race again but he gave the impression the handicapper had just caught up with him when third behind Luneray last time and he will need to improve to defeat our nomination Silver Birch
