Verdict

Rub Of The Relic seeks a hat-trick but he's been raised 9lb for two recent successes and would not appreciate any further softening of the ground. Preference is for HAWDYERWHEESHT in the hope that he can repeat a much-improved effort over this trip last time when just succumbing to Luctor Emergo on soft ground. He inhabits a tempting mark at present and hopefully the application of first-time headgear will have a beneficial effect. Danube River may well be better than recent form figures indicate whilst Schmooze has place claims off the bottom perch in an uninspiring contest.
