Verdict

Seven furlongs on ground with cut really suited ODDYSEY when the Acclamation filly scored with something in hand here last time. The Dods inmate has only had six runs to date and further improvement is therefore a reasonable expectation. A number of her opponents are not in the best of heart at present but Let's Face Facts is an exception, having kept on doggedly to claim a close fourth here this month over this trip on her first outing since last October. She rates a decent alternative if not succumbing to the dreaded 'bounce' factor. C&D winner Sabratha was second in that Ayr contest and enters the equation on ground she handles, whilst North Central would have a definite claim if returning to something like his best.
