Little has gone right for Aldreth this year and now the ground has turned against him. Jim Goldie and Michael Dods are both doubly represented but the latter looks to hold the stronger hand with stout stayer Rocktherunway, now blinkered, and last month's Redcar scorer Dusky Raider likely to be to the fore. Asian Wing won over a longer trip here last year but may not enjoy today's conditions so we'll take FALCON'S FIRE to defy his penalty. A three-year-old won this last year and Keith Dalgleish's gelding has blossomed since landing an ordinary contest on soft going at Hamilton in July. He was second over this track and trip next time and has won since at Newcastle and Musselburgh.
