Royal Duchess has won four times over course and distance and will act on the ground. She was fifth when starting joint favourite for a division of this last year but has a pound more to carry now, though Adam McNamara's claim is a plus. Curzon Line hasn't been disgraced off higher marks since winning at Ripon in May. Steal The Scene and Honeysuckle Lil don't win often but have the ability to figure in a race like this and DOLPHIN ROCK and Novinophobia are recent winners with the latter less exposed than some. But we'll stick with Richard Ford's nine-year-old, who likes it here and also gets on well with claimer Callum Rodriguez.
